I really enjoy writing these blogs a lot more than I thought I would. Making the commitment out loud seems to strengthen my resolve to achieve the things I set out to do. Not only because I make the commitment to myself, but I feel like when I say it out loud here on my blog, I make the commitment to you, my readers. There is nothing more I hate than letting people who depend on me down, and if I’ve said anything over the last few months to inspire anyone to write, work, walk, [...] Greetings everyone, and welcome back to the Goblin Market. Thank you all for being so patient while I pieced this episode together after Horror Realm. Unfortunately, we came home with some sickness, so all of my energy these last few days went into getting this episode recorded and edited for you [...] It was commitment and support from people who care about me that pushed me to do what needed to be done. Because let’s face it. Sometimes we want to do things, but maybe we don’t feel confident or strong enough to take the steps we need to take. When you have people in your life who truly care about you and want to see you succeed, they don’t pull any punches. They push you when you start to step back from the edge, because they know you need to learn to fall before you can fly. [...] Homework. The word brings dread to the hearts and minds of nearly everyone who hears it. It inspires memories of high school algebra, chemistry and vocab. It may even bring to mind that horrid teacher, you know the one who was always on your case about turning in late assignments, but when I talk about homework, I’m talking about something different. Okay, not really, I wrote this blog before I left because Michele and I didn’t want to leave you guys in a lurch on our third week out. Other than the fact that it affects just about every writer on the planet, I sometimes like to think it doesn’t affect me. I have always had an abundance of creative ideas.
