So, tomorrow is the big day. I’m packing up my laptop and my Squeenager, and we’re heading up to Toronto for the holiday. I’m excited and a little nervous, though I’ve traveled back and forth now more than my fair share. This is the first time I’ve taken the Squeenager with me, and she’s really squeeing about the trip. In fact, she told me this afternoon while nabbing supplies from the grocery store that she had trouble sleeping last night because she was really excited about going to Canada.
She and I haven’t traveled together in a loooooooooooooong time. We never got to take fabulous vacations together. In fact, the last time she and I took a major trip together was when she was five years old and we took an all girls family vacation to Disney World in Orlando. So, I am really looking forward to traveling with her. We’ve got a lot of fun stuff planned for the trip, and I can’t wait for her to see Toronto at night.
I hope everyone will keep their fingers crossed so we have safe and happy travels, and we will pop in while on the road to say hallooooo when we get free wifi. Until then, I hope you all have a wonderful holiday with your friends, family and loved ones, no matter what you have planned.
