I mentioned in my last commitment report that I had gotten the Harrisburg Book Examiner job, and today I posted my very first article. It’s an insightful look at the competition brick and mortar bookstores face in light of Internet shopping and the increasing popularity of ereaders. I’m pretty proud of it, and I hope you’ll take a few minutes to drop by and check it out. Comments are not only welcome, but encouraged, as I’d love to hear your thoughts. I also hope you’ll consider subscribing to my page so you can stay up to date on all the latest book news with me.
I also wanted to share more exciting news on the job front. I recently proposed column ideas to the editor of Twirlit.com, a women’s blog, and my proposal was accepted. I’ll be blogging three times a week on Twirlit about movies, books and single motherhood. I’m really excited about this, and again hope I can count on you all for support.
Freelancing isn’t always easy, thought it is enjoyable. Building an audience is one of the toughest parts about writing, especially with constantly increasing competition on the net. Appealing to friends and readers for support and asking them to help spread the word isn’t easy either, but I’ve been blessed with incredibly supportive friends who I know will do all they can to help me expand my growing career.
Thanks to everyone who has supported me emotionally and personally during this last year. Your love and support has meant more to me than you could ever know, and thank you is probably not enough.

With all you’ve accomplished this year, and all you have planned for next, you’re gonna be a rocket! Shoot for the moon and beyond! We’re right here backing you all the way!
Congrats! Sounds like great progress
